Place Shutdown Shortcut on desktop Trick

Maybe this little computer tip might enhance your productivity when shutting down your computer, as we all know to shutdown the computer the user has click start > and hit the shutdown button but to make things a little easier I will show a way you can put a shortcut on the desktop so you don’t have to use the standard way.

Here are the steps:

• Right click on your computer desktop and select New > Shortcut from the drop menu
• In the browse box type: SHUTDOWN -s -t 01 and click Next
• Write the name for the your shortcut and click Finish

Once you had completed these steps the new shutdown icon should be visible on your computer desktop, double click on the icon to test the shortcut. If the file is well configured the computer will shutdown immediately.
